Just wanted to reach out and tell you how much my year 7 class is enjoying season one of the Aotearoa History podcast this year. It's a favourite part of our week. I hear from parents that students are talking about what we're listening to at home.
I love hearing them link past learning with current episodes and how some of them have gone on to reading more about certain events. This morning we listened to the episode about World War 2. I was so impressed to hear a group of boys talking about Michael Joseph Savage and remembering that he was the PM who introduced benefits and was a PM who looked after the common people.

At my school we always do the PAT Listening Comprehension test at the start of the year, but never do anything with the results. This year I decided that listening skills really need to be developed and that taking notes from listening is a key skill my learners need to learn. I'm so glad I stumbled across this podcast series and your resource to go with it!

I intend to continue with season 2, but I'll listen to the episodes before hand and decide whether my students are mature enough to cope with the content.

I teach in the United States, and many of her resources are universal, useful, and fun for students. I especially like the "getting to know you" puzzles. A creative way for students to create a puzzle, and a way for everyone in class to learn something about each other. Great introductory activity!

If you have to purchase one subscription for teaching, choose this! There are so many resources that have made my life so much easier and the quality of the resources are superb.

I'd be list without this site/resource. Fantastic range and growing all the time.

Your material is useful and of good quality. As a part time teacher and individual subscriber, I have really enjoyed the Pacific Island and Te Reo focused resources that I use with my students.This is one of the reasons I chose your website over the many other choices in this field. These resources help supplement and give a solid learning foundation, but differentiation and inquiry learning extension need to be created by the classroom teacher to support learners. (This applies for all website providers and resources).

Last year (and in the first year I subscribed) there was no automatic subscription. This year when I went to renew this had changed on the website. My problem this year with renewal was with your subscription being set for auto renewal and manual un-subscription. The friction this creates clearly benefits your business, but creates hassle for your users. It's a business practice that hopefully will be regulated against in the near future. BTW I did not receive your three reminder emails.
You also hold your subscribers credit card details to achieve this. How secure is your site? You did delete my card after I emailed you and I did give you thoughtful feedback in a calm way via email on improving this feature.
If you have confidence in your product you should be able to trust your subcribers will re-subscibe to retain access. After all I resubscribed for a second year as a part time teacher.

Having an automated renewal
For an individual membership this site automatically puts you on a yearly renewal subscription. When I tried to cancel my card from my account with this platform. A message said my card was as linked. Hinemoa did manually delete my card for me after I emailed her twice.

The support I have had in setting up the programme had its minor issues, after much forward and backward guidance from Hinemoa, and I thank her sincerely. I am now on track

Great quality teaching and learning resources that really engage learners and provide opportunities for explicit and integrated practice. The Reading Membership offers huge value.

We have had a subscription to this service for over a year now, and all I can say is wow! There is so much fabulous content, and with planning included. Any teacher I have recommended this site too has also said wow. Give it a look, you won't be disappointed!

Top Teaching Tasks just keeps getting better and better. It is especially wonderful for teachers in Aotearoa as it has resources that are relevant and aligned with the curriculum.

Amazing resources that are practical and easy to use in the classroom. Something for every year level and ability and such a great range. New resources are added regularly and great communication about these. I recently had an issue downloading a file and had a very prompt response to my query and it was sorted. Excellent service! This site is a great timesaver for me and well worth the subscription.

Top Teaching Tasks or TTT as we use in our planning at my school, has been a game changer in terms of relevant, up-to-date Aotearoa resources. We are always amazed at how many incredible digital and paper resources there are on here. They are constantly being updated and added to all the time. Our students love learning through these, my team and I love how easy they are to use, how detailed and linked to our NZ Curriculum they are. And the new Structured Literacy learning is incredible.
