This resource is a comprehension, discussion, and activity guide accompanying the novel Refugee by T K Alan Gratz, published in 2017. The story revolves around three main characters and their journey to escape their home countries. The book combines elements of oppression and injustice and explores themes of trauma, war, bravery, cruelty versus kindness, sacrifice, and displacement.
