These Phonics and Structured Literacy teaching slides have been created to specifically support the teaching and learning of five consonant digraphs: ch, sh, th, -ck, -ng. This teaching tool could be used as a warm-up at the start of a structured literacy session, as revision or as a whole class lesson.
 
Both PowerPoint and Google Slides teaching practice slides are included (65 slides in total).

The purpose of this teaching tool is to give additional practice to phonological awareness skills.
 
The skills covered in these 65 teaching slides are:
  • identifying syllables
  • identifying and matching rhyming words
  • alliteration and starting sounds/ending sounds
  • I Spy game.
