This Ready to Read Phonics Plus bundle provides simple, practice activities to send home to readers who follow the Ready to Read Phonics Plus scope and sequence. It covers all readers in this series, from Kākano through to Rākau.
These resource sheets can be printed and glued in a home learning book to accompany the corresponding home reader from the Phonics Plus range.
In each pack you will receive:

Focus sounds, words to blend and high-frequency words that are specific to the text.

Encoding practice of specific sounds in the text.

A practice activity, focusing on the decoding / encoding of the text OR a comprehension feature such as retelling, making personal connections or comprehending simple sentences.

Please note: To use this resource, you need to have access to the Ready to Read Phonics Plus Tupu Seedling Level readers. These are found in NZ schools and here.
