When Kane Smith sees people swimming in a feeding spot for sharks, he has to make a decision. Is it his job to warn them? The story follows Kane Smith, a boy with a reputation for being “unreliable” and “reckless”. While walking home, he notices a visiting family swimming in a bay where he knows bronze whaler sharks (bronzies) often feed.
